January is the traditional month when we set our New Year resolutions. We may want to lose weight, travel, pay off bills, find a new job, or save more for our kids’ college educations. For many of us, however, we lose traction when it comes to planning and transforming our intention into reality.
A definition of the verb “resolve” is “to change or transform.” Are you wishing for a change? Or do you really intend to take action? Do you have a plan in place before you take action?
Taking action without a plan can only lead to frustration, the high probability of failure, and feelings we have left ourselves down.
